25 year old Ubaid Nazir , a resident of Bemna locality of Srinagar recently started a Bike Rental Startup named CIECLO in order to improve the facilities of micro mobility in the city and help in reducing the level of pollution caused by automobiles running on fuel. After completing Electronics & Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Srinagar a few years back Ubaid developed upon his interest in cycling into passion and opened up the business with the aim of providing cycle sharing service in the city at a low price.

The first spot for this service has been established at Ghat No 1 of Dal Lake and in the coming days it would be expanded to other places as well in order to cover the entire Srinagar so that Tourists as well locals could use this facility for their daily use wherein they could pick cycle of their choice from any point and drop it at any point just by signing consumer form. Ubaid also aims to provide this facility on Online portal in near future to facilitate reservation of cycles online and to generate information to users as to how many bikes are available at any particular spot. Conventionally this facility was seen in foreign countries only but Ubaid’s initiative has brought this service to Srinagar which is highly commendable.
