KASHMIR STRENGTHENS SAFETY MEASURES AHEAD OF AMARNATH YATRA 2026

As Shri Amarnath Yatra 2026 approaches, Jammu and Kashmir authorities enhance safety for pilgrims, deploying 45 specialized Mountain Rescue Teams and bolstering security measures. SHIKARA

The shikara is a type of wooden boat found on Dal Lake and other water bodies of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir. A Shikhara is a traditional Gondola type light rowing boat which is mostly seen on the pristine Dal Lake, apart from other lakes.

USBRL PROJECT; KASHMIR’S FUTURISTIC DESIGN

Construction of the first 3 phases of the railway project has been completed and the line is operational between Banihal – Baramulla in Kashmir Valley. The Chenab Rail Bridge is a steel and concrete arch bridge between Bakkal and Kauri in the Reasi district of the Jammu Division of Jammu and Kashmir, India. The bridge spans the Chenab River at a height of 359 m above the river, making it the world’s highest rail bridge.
